PREC's PhD student Marco Gigantino meets environmental activist Greta Thunberg

In the framework of the EU-Project NEW-MINE – aimed at waste materials recycling using solar energy – , PREC’s PhD student Marco Gigantino paid a visit to the young environmental activist Greta Thunberg during her demonstration in front of the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm on Friday Feb 8, 2019. He expressed his support to the actions of the brave 16-year-old girl, who has raised awareness worldwide on the alarming consequences of climate change.
